Welcome!
I’m a freelance writer and editor based in Brooklyn, formerly senior editor at VinePair. I’ve previously held positions as a beauty and wellness editor at Allure, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar. My work has also appeared in Vogue, Esquire, Bon Appétit, InStyle, Refinery29, Town & Country, Compound Butter, Cake Zine, and more, and I hold a master's degree in English and Creative Writing from Monmouth University.
In my decade in the industry, I’ve traveled all over the globe to experience the brands and people changing the beauty and wellness landscape. I’ve harvested seaweed on the Irish coast, tended green tea fields in South Korea and the mountains of Thailand, undergone oxygen deprivation therapy in Austria, discovered ancient hair rituals in India, planted moonlight cacti in Morocco, reported on a centuries-old perfumery on the Italian coast, and interviewed stylish locals in Portugal, Mexico, and cities all over the United States.
Along the way, I fell in love with the intersectionality of the food, beverage, and beauty industries, studying everything I can about ingredients they share and the rich cultures they reflect. I cofounded Creamline newsletter in 2020 and launched Allure’s Well Fed, a column celebrating how we nourish ourselves from face to plate by highlighting the people keeping the food and beauty worlds in constant conversation. I’m also a home cook and have taken a graduate course in the Irish Food Culture program at University College Cork.
I’m also an experienced copywriter and consultant with experience in branded content and product marketing. Some brands I’ve worked with include Urban Decay, Kate Somerville, Strivectin, Dermstore, Foreo, Terraform, and more. Whether it’s product copy, podcast scripts, branded stories, press materials, or social posts, if you have a vision, I can turn it into high-performing and dynamic content.
